The objective of this research was to evaluation metabolic, biochemical and hematological parameters in dairy cattle with displacement the abomasum (DA). In study, 80 DA 10 healthy early lactation were used. Jugular venous blood samples for gases, serum analysis all taken. Glucose, lactate, triglycerides, BHB, NEFA, insulin, VLDL, GGT, CK concentrations pH hematocrit value significantly (P

Left displacement of the abomasum in dairy cattle: recent developments in epidemiological and etiological aspects.
The research with respect to displacement of the abomasum (DA) in dairy cattle is reviewed. Evaluated articles describe epidemiological and experimental studies. The occurrence is elevated with regard to breed, gender, age, concurrent diseases, environmental aspects and production levels as contributing factors and emphasis is placed on the effects of nutrition and metabolism. Reviewing the exp...

position of abomasum is positioned below the rumen in the right of the ventral midline. Left displacement of abomasum (LDA) is a condition in which abomasum is trapped between the rumen and left abdominal wall. LDA occurs most commonly in large, high-producing adult dairy cows after parturition (1). Many papers have been described risk factors, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and outcome of ...
متن کاملStudy on the effect of left displacement of abomasum (LDA) on serum minerals and biochemical changes in dairy cows
Minerals and some biochemical parameters determined from blood serum analyses in left displacement abomasum (LDA) affected and healthy dairy cows to evaluate the effect of displacement abomasum on mineral status, energy metabolism and liver function. Samples were collected from 60 affected cows and 60 healthy control cows matched with cases, based on herd, parity, and stage of lactation. Concen...
متن کاملMetabolic Disorders of Dairy Cattle
Dairy cattle metabolic disorders, which are diseases related to disturbance of one or more metabolic processes in the organism are discussed in this overview. The transition period which includes three weeks before and three weeks after parturition is very critical for dairy cows. This period of time is associated with multiple changes including hormonal changes, moving from non-lactating to la...
